The short version: No account is required. Gameplay data stays on your device. We do not sell your data, and personalized ad tracking is your choice.

Overview

Sudoku Monster keeps your data on your device unless you explicitly opt into future online features. We do not sell personal data or track you across apps or sites. You do not need an account to play.

Data we collect

Gameplay data stored locally on your device can include:

Game progress, times, and mistakes
Hints used and difficulty preferences
Settings and statistics

If you sign into Game Center, Apple may share your Game Center alias and scores for leaderboards; we do not store this on our own servers. If you opt into Apple diagnostics, we may receive anonymized device, OS, and crash information to improve the app.

What we do not collect

Phone number or contacts
Photos, camera, microphone, or location data
Payment information—Apple handles all payments
Browsing history or biometric data

How we use data

We use available data to keep the app stable, fix bugs, improve puzzle generation and gameplay, provide customer support, and show ads. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Advertising and tracking

Sudoku Monster displays ads through Google AdMob. When you first open the app, Apple asks whether you allow tracking across other apps and websites.

If you allow tracking, AdMob may use your device advertising identifier to show personalized ads. If you decline, you will see contextual ads instead; no IDFA tracking is used, and the app works the same. Ad-free options are available through Monster Pass or Remove Ads.

Storage and retention

Gameplay data is stored locally on your device. We currently store no personal data on our servers. Deleting the app removes local gameplay data.

Your choices

Change tracking permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
Remove ads by purchasing Monster Pass or Remove Ads
Delete local game data by removing the app
Opt out of diagnostics in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements

Children's privacy

Sudoku Monster is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
